Position Overview Senior Data Analyst with strong SAS programming and SQL skills to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Combine technical expertise with business acumen to deliver meaningful analysis and recommendations. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, passionate about using data to solve complex business problems, and comfortable working independently and cross-functionally.
Pay Rate: $65.00-$76.00 per hour.

About You
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of SAS programming to mine, alter, manage, retrieve, and combine data from multiple sources and perform statistical analysis. Proficient in Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS Macro language, PROC SQL, SAS data integration, and query tools. 5+ years of advanced SQL including complex joins, window functions, stored procedures, performance tuning, and query optimization. 3+ years of data visualization experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Linux shell scripting, process scheduling, application scheduling, and file systems. Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or similar database platforms. API development and advanced Excel skills. Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a related field. Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning. Healthcare or financial services industry experience. SAS or SQL certifications. Familiarity with SAS Procurement Integrity.
Things You Might Do
- Develop and maintain SAS programs for automated reporting and advanced statistical analysis
- Create and optimize SAS stored procedures and views for improved data accessibility
- Maintain data interfaces and troubleshoot system and batch processing
- Design complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets
- Translate stakeholder requirements into analytical solutions
- Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs and share business insights
- Identify trends and patterns to support strategic decision-making
- Document technical processes and data dictionaries
- Validate data quality and implement cleaning procedures
- Mentor junior analysts in SQL and SAS best practices
